I am a PhD in theoretical physics.
I am specially interested in the quantum nature of light and how electromagnetic interactions affect matter. I also find interdisciplinary research fields that bring together physics, chemistry, and biology to be extraordinarily appealing, both for their underlying fundamental physics and for the technological applications that they may offer. More particularly I am curious about quantum description of light-matter interactions, topic on which I'm currently doing my PhD thesis titled “Polaritonic chemistry”.
Apart from my research, I have many other interests. In my spare time I like to read about science and history, as well as play videogames. I also enjoy “geek” stuff such as programming, videogame design, and digital art. You can find some of these hobbies of mine in the non-academic tab (currently unavailable!).
